Horsepark Hideaway

Set in rural Lancashire, hidden away down Horse Park Lane, sits the most idyllic, beautiful glamping pod we have ever laid eyes on. We spent 2 wonderful days at this luxurious little spot and enjoyed the most relaxing, peaceful (much needed) break. It is clear that the pod has been made with lots of love and passion, decorated like a boutique hotel, an extremely special little home away from home.

As we walked in to Fern Cabin, we were blown away at the exquisite and contemporary, yet cosy decor. We found that even more impressive than the beautiful design, was the fabulous little ‘extra touches’, we felt extremely welcomed. The children’s bed had some lovely Horse Park colouring books and crayons waiting for them, gorgeous balloons, big marshmallows for toasting and plenty of games for them to choose from.

Of course, Harry was keen to get straight in to the hot tub, so we all had a dip in the glorious, private jacuzzi. The seclusion of the hot tub and cabin is really fantastic and relaxing, just for you to enjoy as a family, have some quality time and take in the natural surrounding beauty.

We picked up some fish and chips from a local chippy and sat together round the table on the decking, followed by a game of giant jenga! We lit the fire (all equipment provided which we thought was fab!) – and toasted our giant marshmallows, a really sweet, tranquil moment with the children.

So it all sounds amazing right? Well we haven’t even mentioned one of the best parts! A spectacular bell tent filled with cosy bean bags and blankets, decorated with fairy lights and bunting with a projector and large selection of DVD’s – an absolute dream for the kids! This impressive teepee gives you the opportunity to have a private cinema experience, complete with sweeties, popcorn and your favourite drinks, on request. We chose Shrek, all snuggled in, we had an amazing time enjoying this as a family, so much so, Harry pursuaded his Daddy to sleep in there with him!

After a cosy night in the cabin (for the girls!) we woke up feeling very relaxed, we had a coffee in bed and just watched the world go by for an hour – there is something about the cabin that makes you feel very peaceful and calm – a really comforting experience.

Waiting for us in the fridge was everything we needed, all prepped and prepared, to cook up the most perfect full English fry up, including fresh orange juice and some seriosuly tasty bacon! We all loved the big breakfast and decided to follow it with another quick dip in the hot tub before heading down to feed the ducks.

We were truly blown away by Horse Park, a real gem. There wasn’t a single thing out of place or that hadn’t been perfectly laid out for us. A very personal, charming little trip full of memory making and happy, excited little faces. Keep in the loop and follow them on instagram to see their upcoming projects and cabins they are currently hand building! For a full tour of the cabin head to our highlights for a closer look! Get booked in, we promise you won’t regret it!

Love,
